We are looking for Ambassadors to take part in a 12 month Powered by Girls programme. Powered By Girls Ambassadors will create and lead a community of activists and campaigners, create campaign resources for other girls and lead our #NotForYourPleasure Campaign.

What does being a Powered By Girls Ambassador involve?

​

Over the course of a year we want to work with our Ambassadors to build a network of girls take

our #NotForYourPleasure Campaign into the community . As an Ambassador we will support you to:

​

• Create a clear campaign & influencing strategy to allow you to make real change

• Design, create and lead a Powered By Girls online community hub to allow other girls to join our campaign

• Co – create campaign resources and tools to inspire and support other girls who want to campaign on girls issues

• To create real change in your communities and at a National level

 

For this role you will be expected to:

• Attend 1-2 sessions per month to take part in training and ongoing development (with the majority of sessions being online but some in person sessions)

• Commit to attending necessary meetings and events

• Commit to leading this work and helping drive the campaign through individual and collective action

 

We are looking for self – identifying girls and applications are particularly keen to hear from  

Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates.​

 

The ideal candidate will:

• Between the ages of 16 – 25

• Based in the UK

• Passionate about campaigning to tackle issues that affect women and girls

• Have time to be a volunteer and offer flexibility
